Have you ever seen Sex and the City? I'm Miranda.

My life so far has been nothing short of rough, but this really isn't a place for my to piss and moan about everything - I have another blog for that. This is a place for my roommate J (very Gossip Girl, I know) and I to talk about the men in our lives.

A little history: I'd had a "boyfriend" every year since I was 12, and now that I'm no longer a teenager, it's been nearly 2 years since my last one. Can't say that I'm complaining, though, men are too much work.

But what is it about their wiring that makes them want you as soon as you decide you don't want them? Back in September I decided that I was not going to get involved with anyone and focus on my schoolwork instead. Within about 6 weeks of making that decision, I had been asked out by 5 different guys.

Jump forward to 3 weeks ago. Enter my new "spooning buddy" - we'll call him iPhone. He came over on that Thursday night and we watched Star Wars Episode IV (yes we're nerds, don't judge) and spooned. Awesome. When the movie was over and we were just laying there, he told me he'd been wanting to bite my neck for the last hour.

Um, thanks, but I just wanted to spoon.
